I became aware of Bearded Devil a few days ago. Somehow, I missed it’s existence. I came across it because of this post about his city crawl campaign. I agree with many of his ideas about what he calls “baroque DM’ing” and the limitations of procedural generation methods. The setting and characters are delightfully bizarre. The illustrations are evocative and remind me of Edward Gorey’s work. It’s worth digging through the archives. Great stuff!
